SK8r would have been stunning (I like it as it is) if you had captured the guy from a different angle so that the pillar behind him was to one side, framing one side of the shot - if you know what I mean?
I like trafalgar square as well, however it would have benefitted from even narrower DOF, throwing the background even more out of focus
Your jumping boy may have benefitted from just the water/sky as a background, taken from a lower vantage point.
