Default Re-fund law??? --quick response please

If I buy something and when it arrives its damaged am I entiltled to a full refund or do I have to have a replacement?

The fact is I have found something better for the money so dont want it anymore ....

anyone know the legality before i make the phone call to the company?

Just read up on consumer rights and as its damaged I am entitled to a full refund ........

Good. The reason I asked is because you get so many extra items of support when you pay by visa online. Always a good idea to use a credit card for payments online.

The European distance selling rules for things like internet buying/mail order (if that's how you did it) may be relevant. Not a lawyer but look into it.

No it was something I bought at the autosport show and didnt check it properly. Found it to be marked. Its on its way back to demon tweeks tomorrow.

As said here, the distance selling law applies. You have a 7 days cooling off period to basically change your mind if you wish when buying anything online in the UK.
