parcel2go are useless.

2 failed collections. Can't speak to anyone it's done done by mail. They agreed about the last failed collection and sent a mail advising they would re collect ... Today! They mailed at 10am. What's the point? I'm not at home and haven't left the parcel anywhere else as I go to work before 10am and did not know if they were going to re-collect.

Expensive too considering. £10.56 for a 1kg parcel!

They just don't seem to acknowledge anything I tell them. Have mailed them twice regarding this, no response.

As I can't speak to anyone there it makes cancelling all the more difficult too, so I can't even get another courier.

See what happens Friday

prolly get slated but what about good old post office? std parcels or something like that.(not parcel force though, as said above)

i've used them loads and used them to send my old spoiler to ireland (pretty big box as you could imagine), never had any trouble and cheap as chips

big stuff may need to go to a main PO but it's always my first choice now.

Old adage - "Pay Peanuts Get Monkeys"!!!

You're paying £5-£20 to get something delivered from Lands End to John O'Groats ASAP but safely. The only way this service works for the company is to get 1000s of parcels at the same time as otherwise the running costs are prohibitive.

The Overntight Process goes like this...

Book Job
Van despatched to collect & does so (providing from the booker's address of course)
Van delivers Job to Depot
Depot loads it on Trunk Lorry
Trunk Lorry delivers it to Hub
Hub "sorts" Job based on delivery location
Hub loads Job on Delivery Depot Trunk Lorry
DDTL delivers Job to Delivery Depot
Delivery Depot loads Job onto Delivering Driver's Van
DDV effects delivery.

How many bloody potentials for failure are there in that system? Loads

Stop being cheapskates & expecting the world for a tenner & book a direct courier who will be the same person that picks up the Job as delivers. May cost more but it'll save the moaning on non-delivery

Oh & the workers in the hub/overnight delivery system get paid not a lot too - draw conclusions...

Then they shouldn't advertise the service for that price if they can't deliver that service.

Like your business sense Puff, send a £30 package witha £50 courier - makes great sense

I take it back puff.

Today parcel2go email apolosing saying it will be collected.

No collection. Am now told I need to take it to the depot! Phone up. Am now told they can't take it anyway!!!!!

Then they ask if I want a refund? Erm let me think about this, 3 failed collections, then tell me 4 days after forst booking they can't take it.

Useless. Have now lost the customer, great.
