My money would be on Christian Bale (from American Psycho). As well as being a British actor I think he would fit the part well.

Christian Bale or Clive Owen would get my vote
But i remember a few weeks ago bookies stopped taking bets on some bloke called Colin Salmon or something along those lines. (he was in alien vs Predator & resident evil)
Although i think him geting the role would be highly unlikey as he is black and has previously been in a bond film, but there was a number of large money bets placed on him so who knows.
