Places to stay around Eurodisney
Has anybody got any suggestions of places to stay around Eurodisney? The prices hotels 'next door' charge seem to be extorionate, so I was thinking about going further away and travelling in by RER.
Anybody done anything similar?

Nope!! I stayed in the big pink hotel above the gates, as it was easy to be in the park as it opened and to leave at closing time and then be back in the hotel in about 2 minutes...

We stayed on site at the New York New York Hotel and the level of service was excellent in the hotel.
Shame about the rest of the park, then again what do you expect but building it in France.

Was the hotel OK? Secure car parking?

Only complaint was that the restaurant menu was limited and you had to pre book, the eating places at the shopping centre were limited too if you are there for any more than 2-3 days or if you have kids. There is Mcdonalds and of course the choices at Disney, but fast food gets a bit boring...lol
Parking was behind electric gates, very small town, mainly residential about 2-3 mins from the big shopping centre thing and disney.
I took the Evo without a problem.

We stayed in a chain of hotels called 'E-Bis'? I think. Similar to a Travel lodge
It was a short tube ride away. The hotel was right by the station and it takes you into EuroDisney. The hotel was clean and cheap although the rooms were a bit small

I stayed here just before Christmas:
http://marriott.com/property/propert...rshaCode=PARDP
Spot on place, but it's self catering atm, with no eating facilities onsite (they are still building it). Free bus to/from Disney, and fast links into Paris. Reception will do just about anything for you including ordering takeaways
Special offer of 99euro's a night atm.
(Thought Disney World was pretty ****, although the film studio bit is quite interesting. You will do it all in two days)
