Bizarre Car!
Not too sure which forum is most appropriate for this one.
One of my mates snapped this in Glasgow the other day.

Is it an old Avenger or one of the Eastern European jobs?
Check the sunstrip.

There were some beauties during this period :
Austin Allegro
Morris Marina (later Ital, but who were they kidding?)
And Mini's...
Before I start a Mini debate, let me just say that I ran one for a while and it was the unluckiest car I've ever been near.
Halcyon days...

My mum had one of these, we had an accident in it, some guy rear ended it when I was in the back, this was pre seat belt days. Went straight between the seats and smacked my head on the radio. Car was a write off and I got a new bike with the compo. Must have been about 7 years old...lol

Chrysler Avenger for sure - I ran one for a couple of winters while my MK2 RS2000 was off the road. Bought it for £160, resprayed it with white yacht enamel and a go-faster stripe. It had no fins on the radiator and used to run so hot it was off the temp gauge - the oil was white with condensation....Never failed to start or run though..
