New cat please, please....... HELP
So, in our house we have a female tabby (5yrs) and a psyco black and white 2yr old boy (who recently had his bits chopped off). Now these two get along famously, obviously there are the occasional 'stand offs' but on the whole all is peaceful, at least it was until last night when TJ arrived. He is apparently a Norwegian Forest Cat, but looking at him and the fact that he weighs 10.5Kg's I am not so sure, but we have given him a home as his owner is too old and infirm to care for him anymore. Few questions
1. How long before the three of them settle down ?
2. Am I gonna have to prove my dominance in the house? (went to get into bed last night and he was all 'snunnered' down on my side of the bed as i tried to get in he started to growl....I fappin shat myself!!!
So any stories or suggestions?

our most recent one took a week before it would be in the same room as the others
Plenty of cats have been through this house, and you always get the scuffles and hissing for a week or two
- then they realise it is futile and they all get along.

It takes a while... we introduced a bengal-cross female to our ginger tom, and there was weeks of hiding, hissing, and scrapping.... Then they calm down..
There is still the occasional playfight, but let them sort out who is boss, no point trying to keep them apart and then scrapping when you are not about.
(obviously if it gets bloody break it up.. but it rarely does... )

My Norwegian Forest is a long coated male tabby. 3yrs old so still growing and maturing. He's currently 17lbs and looks like hitting around 21lbs or so fully grown and matured.
10kg cat!! Bloody hell, instead of going to the gym I'd curl the cat!!!

Other half has a cat, its hates me most of the time and I return the compliment. Everytime I see it on the bed (it usually runs when it sees me) I chuck the cushion at the ******.........that makes it run.

I know why.... because people on here get a little bit precious about anything to do with cats.
It would be interesting to know if Paul had an RTM on it or whether he went out on a limb and butchered my post off his own back...
