Reminds me of this Darwin Award:
(Late 1989s, Australia) A rather impressionable student of kung fu listened with rapt attention when his instructor dramatically informed the class, "Now that you have reached this level in your training, you can kill wild animals with your bare hands!"
The martial arts trainee took the statement as gospel, and headed to the Melbourne zoo to test his mettle with the wildest animal of all: the lion. In the dead of night, he slipped into the zoo, leapt into the lion enclosure, and engaged a suitable king of the jungle in combat.
He would probably have lost a one-on-one fight, but he never got to try. His naive fight plan didn't account for the enthusiasm of the lion's pride for a tender intruder; nor did it give sufficient weight to the possibility that his instructor didn't know what the hell he was talking about.
Zoo employees found his remains -- two arms and hands -- the following morning, with shreds of red fur grasped tightly in his fingers.

Its not easy to tell, but I think that's an alligator.
The way these tricks are meant to work is that the animal has a "zone" around its body which it knows it can get to you in. If you cross into this zone it will snap at you almost like a reflex, whereas if you are outside the zone it will just stay still.
This is why the trainer was poking it with the stick around the end of the snout from the front, making sure the alligator knew that it couldn't get to him. The 'gator confirms this by not moving. He then slides his arm directly from the front where the 'gator associates with "no point in attacking" and with its mouth open it cannot see his arm either.
I think he must have touched the front of the mouth or the front teeth on the way in. The 'gator knew he was "in the zone" and the rest is history!
Still, I bet that was his most entertaining show yet!

A bloke walks into a pub with a crocodile under his arm.
When the commotion dies down, he lays the croc on a table and prises its jaws apart.
The man inserts his wedding tackle in the crocs mouth, then pulls out a hammer and smacks the croc squarley on the head.
The croc doesnt flinch.
He turns to the rest of the pub and shouts - "who wants to try it for 50 quid"
Paddy stands up, and says " I'll do it, but just go easy with the hammer"

You could be right - snout doesn't look "pointy" enough for a croc, looking at the end when the clip cuts back to it. Didn't think gator's death rolled though as they tend to take prey they can swallow whole rather than attacking big stuff and ripping chunks off like a croc does.

The stripes on the flanks suggests crocodile though and there is a red sign in the video that I think says "Crocodile Show". It looks like somewhere in Asia, so it could be a Siamese croc?
