Mobile Speed Camera - Acceptance levels

Mobile Speed Camera - Acceptance levels
I'm aware that deviation levels used to be (or still are) 10% +2.
Coming off the brow of a hill with other light traffic all doing indicated 51 on the speedo in a 40... Road Angel says ~47.
I've been this close on a different occassion and nothing was heard...
Is this likely to be accepted or are the tolerence levels less this time of year?

Guildelines are only a guide, and while most police forces observe the 10% +2, that is the speed you get done for, not the speed you get let off for, ie my son was done for 46 in a 40.
Many mobile speed cameras are operated by commercial firms and you can be certain that a) their equipment will be correctly calibrated and checked, and b) they will do you if you are at or above 10% +2.
And don't try the "it wasn't me driving" trick as they have your picture on video and you will be in deep **** And not signing the NIP will only get you into more trouble.
Best to take it on the chin and stay quiet, but if your license can't take the points some courts offer a speed awareness course instead of points/fine.
Richard.
