Default Pet insurance.

The last year or so has not been a good one for me when it comes to dogs, having had my first dog put down almost a year ago at a young age, my second at the vets today having an operation on his paws that will result in most of his toe nails being removed and our puppy suffering from a spinal embolism at eight months old - luckily he's pretty much recovered although he will always limp.

With that history I'm expecting next year's premiums to be up there with the Scoob in terms of cost so my question is, has anyone made significant claims and what has the impact been on the premiums?

Depends who you go with and if you were with them before the illness started. Pet Plan are pretty good at not bumping up the premiums if you have been with them a long time

I'm with Direct Line. 2 claims in 4yrs but no significant increase in premium.
