Default New Samsung D500 Mobile

Just got one from Orange yesterday.

How the hell do you sync your contacts ???

If I have to enter them all by copying them to sim then copying on to the new phone I'll go mental- there must be an easier option

Has anyone got any info?

Thanks,
Simon

Thought you'd cancelled it Tiggs? Have you got the i-mate thingy yet? Any links? Although this D500 is lovely I think I may stay with the V3

seems excellent good but the keypad is small. as mentioned above I'm really not relishing the idea of typing in, or correcting, about 300 contacts.

if they want it taken seriously as a business users phone they need to supply a data suite and cable.

i did it on mine by infr red each contact,, no truncating and all ok

I,m looking at picking up a data suite & cable for the E800 to see if this works,,

Tiggs,, re your xda thingy..

i was going to go for an xda, but i found one major flaw imho

its great, but try holding it in one hand whilst trying to tap numbers or move items, the joypad / keys are too near the bottom of the phone the balance is all wrong.., i found this when trying to use my axim pda

i saw the sharp one at the w/end v big screen (2 cams) bit big but not keen on the arial!!

saying that i may see what the updated treo 600 is like, i actually will be sorry to see mine go,

It was a bit large, but for what it could do it made emails and surfing on the go a doddle... mind you the data bills were getting a bit steed!

the xda was a bit clumbersome but i got used to it......it seems the new dialer screen on the imate is perfect though...very easy for one handed use.

my only prob with the xda was size, it felt like a big lump in your pocket......the imate is tiny though and far slimer than many phones...D500 included.

could have done that but tend to be quite lazy and easily frustrated, don't much fancy infra-red'ing every single contact

I've checked out the D500 and it has almost everything I need, plus I loved my old T100 for ease of use and call quality. The only problem is that the D500 doesn't sync with outlook contacts - you have to use dedicated software.
