Cool Testing the surround sound with some Pink Floyd

OMG! The sounds amazing! Took awhile to get it set up for cds, we're still figuring it all out lol! Apparently people used Dark Side Of The Moon in the 70s to test out their stereos, so what better than to use some Pink Floyd on this!

What version of Dark Side are you listening to? Has it been remastered for Pro-Logic or DTS?

I think "Welcome to the Machine" from the "Wish You Were Here" album will test the bass drivers adequately.

DSOTM is available on SACD in an excellent 5.1 mix. Really lifts this album.

Well worth buying it to try as long as you are SACD capable.

Cheers

Yep the SACD version is amazing on a decent surround setup.
They should release the wembley stadium gig on SACD as well, now that would be great.

I dont,

pure short line stereo,!!!

why pump a stereo signal through a dsp chip???

you want to hear it as is not how some chip interprits it.

The best thing to listen to Pink Floyd on is Heroin whilst watching the wizard of oz, or something.

listen to stereo in stereo

the dark side of the moon remastering on SACD is simply incredible. One bloke spent over a year doing it - a real labour of love

i must have listened to the album hundreds of times and I heard soooo much I'd never heard before.

the most involving musical experience u can have without drugs

if u have an sacd capable player then get it
