Welsh road deaths up 18%
Well considering we seem to have all the road safety cameras here in Wales isnt it surprising to see road deaths have gone up by 18%. These are the Welsh Gov own figures taken from their website.
During 2003 there were 9,744 road accidents involving personal injury recorded by the police in Wales, 44 (0.5 per cent) more than in 2002
173 people were killed on Welsh roads, 26 (18 per cent) more than in 2002
1,482 people were seriously injured in 2003, 3 (0.2 percent) fewer than in 2002.
Kind of throws out all their claims of road safety improvements.North Wales had highest injury rate for 7 years.

Caused by people looking for cameras, not concentrating on the road and slamming their brakes on for cameras when they spot them. How many people will the extra revenue raised bring back to life?
