Temporary insurance on an extra car?
Will insurers usually give you say a months cover on an extra car?
Found something to buy out of the blue thats too good to pass up so obviously havent sold or prepped my car for sale so need to spend a couple of weeks doing that, and as its xmas/new year it'll probably be a month.....
Anyone done this? Or know an insurerr that will give a months cover policy?

Yes, I did it a few years ago - just ring up your insurers and ask. All you miss out on is the ability to shop around for the best quote on your new car - though you may find that with a new policy, you'll be able to get temporary cover on your old car too.

Mine likewise - when I got the scoob, transferred the main policy to that, kept the old car on at £25/week IIRC on a "car for sale" policy.
