Bluetooth headsets / car kits
Right, just got my P910. 10% off continues at the shop until midnight.
So I don't fall foul of the SN "Using phone is worse than speeding" attitude , I'd like to get something for the car to make my and wifey's (SE T630) phones handsfree. Hate cables, got bluetooth, might as well use it.
Whatever we buy will be left in the car. I promise you it will not be worn as a status symbol around supermarkets Expected amount of use - 5 mins a week, if that.
Is it worth getting a BT headset - if so which one - or should I just get a carkit that plugs in the lighter socket?
Simplicity of use and battery life probably more important than looking like a bodyguard, but subconscious machismo may be acknowledged
Thanks!

Luckily, my company pays for the installation of a proper handsfree kit which is mounted on the dash or transmission tunnel depending on the model. As such, I'd recommend this as it allows the user more peripheral awareness (I'm trying to stay away from the handsfree debate) than attaching anything to your head/ears whilst keeping the phone fully charged.

I've also got a Jabra headset which works great (unlike the phone), but I think it's the 100 one. Comfy to wear too.

My personal opinion is that you look like a bell end wearing one, does anyone know if thay have been proven not to do you harm? My secondary reason for having a car kit is so that I'm not frying my brain with a piece of electronic equipment strapped to my earole. If you buy a BT carkit you can use it as a selling point as they are compatible with most modern phones these days.

I use a Nokia headset, with both my T610 and nokia 6310i with out problems.
I don't know the cost of them so can't comment as I didn't pay for it
