heres one to get the lynch mob / pc brigade kicked off
I read in the papers at the w/end, that Jamie bulger,s mum had found one of her sons killers, her initial feelings were of revenge, but she froze, and then went on to say if she had found him once she could find him again..
i have set up the poll to see if there is a marked swing based on your own circumstances. feelings..
please dont turn it into a moral crusade, i just wnat to confirm a theory

think you will find that anyone with kids would say without thought that they would avenge their childs death. when it came to the plunging of the ice pick into the eye sockets you may well find that most of all those people wouldn't actually go through with it.

Having read what was reported in the press at the time about what they did to Jamie, it is the only time I have ever cried whilst reading a newspaper. If he had been my little boy and the opportunity ever arose where I was one on one with his killer then I would grasp it with both hands and wrap them round his throat. It wouldn't solve anything and if caught I may serve time in prison but life's a gamble.

I have also lost a friend when we were 9 years old who WAS murdered. His family were never the same after it and slowly over the course of about 5 years they fell apart. Nearly 25 years later and even now if the chance came along some members of the family would have their revenge.

why should they get away with it. they killed a little boy, and are now free to enjoy themselves... unlike the victims parents, who have to endure this for the rest of there lives...
i disagree with all the pc crap about it brings you down to there level if you do it to them...
SO WHAT!!! if the scum are taken out of the equation, at least the parents might feel apeased as to there loss.
so far the poll results bear out some of what i thought, but it needs a bigger
sum of people to be valid

plenty of ppl get killed....when did you last hear of a revenge attack on someone????
the only circumstance where it makes a tiny bit of sense is if you have:
no spouse, no other kids, no close family, no use to anyone else....otherwise you are a selfish fool.

Stuff like this happens everyday, all over the world. If every one took revenge, the world would be a worse place than it is already.

my initial reaction would be to say yes, i'd kill them *******, but in reality i dont think i would. But i dont have kids so its hard to say.
if i did, i'd probaly pay someone to do it, at least you've got some chance of getting away with it!

Im sorry but these kids didnt just kill jamie, they tortured him for something like 3 hours and killed him in the most inhumanly and disgusting way possible and for kids as young as them to carry it out and not stop once to think this is wrong is just plain sick and what twists the knife that little bit more is they are probably living a better standard of life than half of the people who post on this board. the little ba$tards, wasnt my kid, I didnt know Jamie but I wanna kill the little toe rags.

This is the most ridiculous poll I've seen on Scoobynet to date, (with the possible exception of a few in Muppets). There's no way anybody can say for definite how they will react in any situation, until they are actually in that situation.
I can understand people wanting revenge in this type of situation, but I believe that a lot of people wouldn't go through with it. I also believe that if they did, they'd find it didn't help as much as they'd hoped, and it could end up destroying them.

Jasey you have to understand Tiggs is always morally right no matter about stats
Obviously Tiggs from his stance would sit back and accept it if anything happened to one of his own and be able to deal with it rationally
I think Tiggs you should perhaps ask the parents of children who have died due to someone elses actions how they feel.
