As far as I'm aware, it's exactly the same as the v600, and hence the v500. So, it's good, but there'll be better out soon from Motorola. After all, it's based on an old design/interface... Just for fashion victims....

Well after a quick ring around it would seem that no one has them in stock apart from carphone warehouse who want DOUBLE what everyone else wants

I've just picked one up off Ebay. Depends on what you want really. I'd had enough of big PDA-type phones and just wanted a nice small phone. V3 fits the bill. Battery life so far is OK, although I do tend to charge my phone overnight regardless. Sound quality is good and it has a decent speaker phone. Interface is OK - typically Motorola, but you get used to it. Screen quality is good (although the latest Sony Ericsson 3G phones are probably better). Camera is pretty good too. The storage of names is a bit clunky, but I can live that. Design is very nice and suits me at the moment.
