Default O2 X3 Mobile Phone - Anyone Have One?

Yep it must be getting close to Christmas!
On paper this phones got quite a nice spec:

1.3 megapixel digital camera with flash
Video camera
MP3 player
O2 Active
Picture Messaging
Java games
Polyphonic Ringtones
Tri Band
GPRS - fast all day downloads
Screen Colours: 262k
Standby Time: Up to 150 hours
Talk Time: Up to 3 hours 30 minutes
Size: 82 x 42 x 26mm
Weight: 96g

It looks a little ordinary but for £199 on PAYG or 'free' on contract it's quite good imo. I'm just concerned about the operating system. What is it like?
I bought a Motorola as a present last year and the operating system seemed so confused when compared to the simplicity of any Nokia.
If the systems OK I'll buy it.

I have one...reasonable phone. Had a Nokia 7250i before - Nokia do interfaces so well that I find this a little clunky.

Camera is OK, digital zoom on it seems good on paper but it hasn't blown me away.

MP3 player requires supplied 32MB ( too small ) miniSD card, you need a separate miniSD card reader for your PC to load Mp3s onto it....you can't use the supplied USB cable to do this...madness.

Battery life is fine if you run it in power sving mode - comparable to Nokia I had previously.

Good bright colourful screen.

Very little in the way of inbuilt ringtones and associated media.

Call quality is good.

See here for more opinions:

In summary hasn't blown me away - then again I got it for £20 as an upgrade so I can't complain too loudly :-)

Thanks for that Chunky, good points you make shame it's put me off a little. 2nd time I've read so,so comments about the camera. As for the mp3 bit...like you say madness.
Mart360 Better due hey? From 02? I guess it's the value for money aspect I liked about the X3 but I suppose you get what you pay for.
