Are you speaking from experience?
Cant say Ive ever tried coke (along with all other drugs as it happens!) so wouldnt know anything about it.
Certainly seemed to be the drug of choice at the trendy bar I went to for NYE last year.... got quite a shock when I entered the loos to find everyone doing lines of it from by the sinks!!!

Perhaps they use it as an excuse to go omewhere quiet to do the Coke, I always say I just off to do a line so nobody knows its me who has stunk the place out and blocked the bog.
Never tried it really, I am however, generally similar to the average coked up ars*hole most of the time anyway.

I tell you what, I find people on coke far better, nicer people than pissed up ***** looking to fight all the time.
Also, alcohol kills more people than other drugs (granted it's used more) per year.

I'm sorry, but this is cobblers. For a start, why on earth would anyone do that when there are far cheaper harmless alternatives you can buy in Boots?

Not an anti drugs crusade as im partial to the odd Fatty Boombatty (joint), each to their own, I know two people who have destroyed theirs and their familys lives on that crap, one of whom I've known for 20 years +, they had everything, house car money good job and blown the lot to a **** drug,the guy i've known 20 years has even resigned from his job, £40K + o t because he's so f*cked on it, stays up for three days, no sleep, forgets to come to work (about 20 days so far this year) and then when he gets a written he thinks he's victimised!!, I've had many many chats with him but it's like talking to a brick wall, anyway the house has gone the car has gone he now lives in a one room bed sit and all that belongs to him is in two suitcases and a 10 year old 14" TV, not bad for a 44 year old that has been earning between 30-40 K a year for the past 10 years.....
And I feel so helpless because he just can't admit he has a problem

This doesnt happen all the time, but it does a lot.

I think Coke probably is addictive physically?? iI know Heroine is "physically addictive", but you're saying coke is only "mentally addictive". I'm not 100% sure either way so I'll take your word for it.
My point is that: Scenario.
Alcohol is illegal and Cocaine is perfectly legal. You'd have people hiding in toilets drinking shots of whiskey etc etc and everybody would say they are waisters etc etc.
I wanna know how people define the differences bewtween the 2 drugs just cos "someone" at some point in history decided one is acceptable and the other is not.

Hmm, tough one that, I decided it was more acceptable to drink Beer than snort Coke being as I cant loose my job (work for Plod) get put in prison etc for drinking a can of Carling.
It may be wrong but I have to operate within the leagal framewrok we have been 'blessed' with.
