Ebay question....is this ethical?
So you see an item that you want, and that no-one else seems interested in.Is it okay to wait till the auction ends and then email them offering them a lower price than the reserve or minimum bid?

Paul- It happens all the time. Rest assured if you don't, somebody will.
As for if it's ethical, well, not strictly no, but eBay will have had the guys listing fees once anyway.

do it all the time, and nearly everytime get a deal
But.............the real bargains are in the small ads.eg if you want some HIFI equipmnt, read the small ads in the back of the mags and phone and make an offer,it WILL be considerably cheaper than Ebay.
Ebay is no longer a place for bargains unless the product is an unknown brand.Check out BOSE,no on with ears that work would buy the,but they attract zillions of bids on EBay
its madness now,buy private and save a fortune
