Talking Ok what do i do lol

Checked my wages today and i have 10.5hrs of holiday left. the working day is 8.5hrs.

Now we break up for christmas on the 24th although we may only be there half day, and ive never worked a christmas eve yet!!

So what do i do, take 2 half days on the build up to christmas or book christmas eve off?

Bit annoyed as i thought i had 2 days left lol

cant you ask the boss if they plan on working a full day on chrimbo eve? that way you'll know if u need the full day off or not and work with him on that understanding?

I used to work for a company who made you work Christmas Eve but used to send you home at lunchtime. However, if you wanted the time off, you had to take a full day's holiday because it was considered a full working day, even though we got sent home at lunchtime!

I bet that's what happens....

Thats what happens at our place.

I don't get much leave, 32.5Days Leave and then 26Days Flexi-Leave ... I cannot seem to manage on only 58.5Days!

We should ALL get teachers holidays and working hours ...... ahhhhhhh, bliss!

Give this a try to see what they say.

Book the 23rd off and 2 hours off on the 24th then you'll at least get full use of all of your 10.5 hours holiday pay, you'll probably get the rest of the day off on the 24th anyway if your boss is OK.
