Well we picked up a Bush 28" Widescreen for £130+vat from Macro. Was a few weeks back though. Good enough as a second tv and plenty of features.

If you live anywhere near an argos extra store it's worth a look there, yesterday i saw a sony wega 28ins wide screen for £299 and other makes (sanyo, thomson, bush etc) for a lot less. They have got a lot of stuff featured in the last catalogue which is not in the current catalogue that they have to get rid of for the space. i picked up a sony picot dvd player for £25.00.. and a set of 3 homephones which were £70 for £18.. unfortunately these little bargains are not on the website but you can use ring and reserve..

have a look at

www.lowesfamily.ndo.co.uk/argossale/htm

this woman has done untold work finding all the codes for bargains a la argoose... a lot of it has now gone as some barsteward sold the link to her list on ebay!!! But you might find something, t/v's are on list 3 i think.

Dont by anything from your local electrical store i.e. Comet/Curry's
always buy off the t'internet

have a look at www.empiredirect.co.uk or www.unbeatable.co.uk i have dealt with empire loads of times and they saved me over 80 quid on a hi-fi that was 300 quid at Comet
