Where is all the rubber?
Came to me last night while lying awake, so I did a little calculation this morning, and worked out that a car with 17" wheels, in going from 4 new tyres to 4 fully worn tyres, loses about 1100 cc of rubber.
Given the number of cars on the roads, and that lorries will lose proportinately more, just where IS all that rubber? Where does it go? Not all up in smoke, surely?

It sticks to the ground, and at night when its really dark, little rubber gnomes come and scape it into tesco bags, this is then used to manufacture the evil space hoppers.

Don't be stupid lightning, give a sensible answer. Any fool can see that black tyre rubber can't become an orange space hopper.

Not really related but regarding rubber
I said too a m8 on MSN earlier jokingly will you bring me a rubber as id spent ages producing this drawing only too make a mistake and i didnt have a rubber too hand, me m8 said brb.
20 mins l8r theres a nock on door i open it too find me m8 standing there who then asks if i want a normal one or a ribbed one before handing me a selection of condoms and walking away.
