Earlier on somebody i talk too on msn sent me a file claiming too be a MSN block checker (a way too see if people on ur list have you blocked or not).

I was a litle warey off it had a big argument with her about it being a virus or something.

Anyway i opened the prog and it came up with a similar menu too msn asking for username and password. I was still a bit unsure so typed in wrong user name and password.

Next thing that happens is the username and password appears in the persons message box who sent you it.

Turns out it wasnt actualyl the person who i talk too it was somebody that has hijacked her account.

Has happened too another 6 off my contacts since about 6pm so be careful

Can you send me the file please. I'll check to see if it's detected by our software - McAfee - if not I'll ensure that it's added.

Location should be File|Open Recieved Files from MSN Messenger.

This has now been added to our list of malware as 'Generic PWS.a trojan' detection should start either this or next week. If anyone would like an extra driver for use with McAfee Antivirus send me an email at jack_clark@<company name>.com.
