And you cant polish a turd, however, I cant completely dismiss the TR7, loved it as a kid in the seventies, had the Corgi version and when my dad bought one (car trader) I was so chuffed I broke the indicator stalk off, also Tony Pond (RIP) in his TR8 had a big influence on me, people slag them and hey werent that great due to the trade union/quality/design issues but you cant help having a soft spot for something you loved as a six year old !
No way on earth would I buy one now though, nostalgia is a dangerous drug.

I just missed out on a ride in an F40 when they'd just come out and i was a young'un. Still pissed off about that,ggrrr.
I can remember being in my cousins TR7 though and being very scared due to the crapness of three things - the car, the weather (wet) and his driving,lol.

i know somebody who built one off those , his looks alot better than that il try and get some pics off it
Iv also seen a number off the ferrari and lambo kits ased on Mr2s they are quite convincing.
Also seen a very smart Dino replica a few years ago at donny

the mr2/355 conversions look quite nice IMHO 
Still wouldn't have one, or a 355 - I have a feelling that the ŁŁŁŁ/performance wouldn't be a good as my current Scoob.......
