Yes, I do all the time. Never had a problem with them and their stuff always arrives very quickly considering it's from Hong Kong.

Don't buy my CDs or DVDs from anywhere else!

It does say somewhere on the website that the CDs may sometimes be slightly different to the UK editions. Having said that, I've never noticed any differences in the dozens I've had from them - might be an idea to check track listings just to be on the safe side.

Oh, and they normally arrive remarkably quickly - often within 2/3 days of ordering.

Be careful, last year I bought a Gamecube game but got stung for duty making it cost more than buying the game in the UK!

I will never use again!

Used them many times - outstanding service. One of the firms that make Internet shoppiong a pleasure.
In fairness Andy - that's not their fault - you take the chance, sometimes you'll get away with it, sometimes you won't.

Little question regarding CDjungle

How long does shipping usually take with them?

CD wow are a really good company. I've been using them for a few years now, can't fault them at all.

I've used CDWow since they first started. I have only good things to say.

Over the years, the odd CD/DVD has gone missing. A quick phone call and they dispatch another one out to you, no questions asked. Always had a quick answer and very polite people.

You take the chance with any company when you buy over the import tax limit.

I've also used www.grabadisc.com - again can't praise them highly enough.

Going off at a slight tangent, if you're after books www.play.com have just started doing them at incredibly competitive prices - even on newly published stuff.

Another thumbs up for CD-WOW. Everything delivered quickly and no tax issues (though I've only ordered CDs and DVDs).

Another thumbs up. Superb service, even when the thieving ******* at the Post Office stole 80% of my orders in one month. All replaced, even the replacement that was subsequently nicked was replaced (albeit with a warning that my account was being monitored from now )

Follow THIS LINK for 5x £1 vouchers

AFAIK CD-WOW get around some of the import tax problems by importing to their own office in the UK, then posting it on to you But as with all oversees purchases, it's wise to order one at a time to keep the value below £18.

Another very good site is www.dvdsoon.com I'll be getting my LOTR ROTK 4 disc box set from them come december for £15 when HMV will probably have it on the shelves for £35

I've used CD-Wow many times without problems. The only point of note is that you won't necessarily get UK issues/versions of CDs (unless it specifically says that it is UK).

yep used cd-wow and found them very good, bit odd that they ship multiple item orders separately and once I had a DVD go astray but just phoned them and told them and boom just refunded me the cost of it straight off no questions.

Not odd to me - makes it easier for items to pass C&E without getting hit for duty.

Had many CD's over the last couple of years - never a problem and always very quick delivery.

I saw them first when they were promoted by my credit card company, so I thought they must be OK.

Not their fault??

After it happened, I double checked their website and there was nothing about the games being shipped from abroad, unlike the CD's.

No warning that you may have to pay duty.

Bearing in mind I was buying a game that was region coded for the UK (and is practically useless outside of the UK), why would I think it was being shipped from abroad?

They may have changed the website since, but I haven't given them another chance since then!!

With the amount of DVDs, games and CDs I was buying at the time, it was their loss!
