Is that for the Porsche Chuck?

Well I guess it might have cost 40K to buy all the kit and the car and have it fitted. But, as to wether it's WORTH 40k is another matter.

I don't think it's meant to be worth £40k...but thats an estimate of what it cost to build...ie new price of STI Type R, HKS goodies, NOS, I.C.E. etc etc

And no, not for the Porsche...I'm thinking of selling that and buying a Ford Racing Puma now...spending the change on a makeover for the poor old 22B which has been in use as our daily driver for the past couple months and needs some pampering LOL

OMG - this is the car I saw at Thorpe Park last week on a corporate event and loadsa my colleagues were remarking on it's chavity, especially seeing the majority of custom there!!

It was driven by 1 bloke who had 3 birds with him and he was revving the nuts off it, with the music blaring!

Worth 40k? umm, no sorry, don't think so somehow. I think even a totally mint condition 22B would not fetch 40k, let alone this *******ised creation.

40k to build? if including the base car, labour, VAT, as well as parts, possibly. I'm not so sure though. I would have thought that a mind condition type R would be around 20k (I'm not totally up on prices of classics these days) and that's probably over optomistic and for a totally mint condition standard car as well. So, you have 20k left, I'm sure that you could get all the associated goodies, inc fitting, vat and painting (where needed) for a lot less than 20k. Maybe I'm in a dream world though?

Must say, that from the, albeit small, picture, it does look rather sickly, and this is coming from a bit of a tart lol

erm a 22b i wouldnt have thought would even get that much! they go for about £25k? ish? i know type r's are going for between £10k - £14k so doubt it would be worth anymore than that at all. you can pick up early wrx's for £3k now which is good news for me when i upgrade to a turbo

As said, totally utterly mint, and probably never driven 22b *might* fetch 40k, if at autction and a couple of petrol sniffing banshee's really wanted lol. 25 - 30 sounds about right though. So that'd leave a fair whack for parts.

I know only too well about cheap WRX's, sold the beast for a rather low amount *sniff*, must say however that I'd probably not go for an early WRX, not unless it's been insanely looked after, I'd still want to spend a min of 8 - 10k on one, and to be honest, I'd probably want a new age car.

Anyway, I digress. Wonder if the car has been nicely mapped?
