Question MTB Clubs around Peaks/Derbyshire?

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone could recommend a mtb club around south derbyshire/nottinghamshire.

Chap I usually ride with is always to busy to go riding and am getting a bit fed up not having anyone to ride xc with?

I live around mansfield/chesterfield so any clubs around there would be perfect, not too fussed doing lots of rides around sherwood pines though.

cheers, Al

This is the local trailquest club (orienteering on mountain bikes)

http://www.darkandwhite.co.uk/index.htm

You'll meet loads of like minded trail riders at events like these.
Trailquests are as hard or as easy as you want them to be as its the number of checkpoints and points scored which counts.

Our local events up here in Cumbria have 200+ entrees. Very popular growing sport as it allows a kind of racing on bridalways(as you are competing for points not time) which is banned if it's a set course racing.
