Exclamation Is it Possible to send a card to the USA for next day delivery?

It's my Aunts birthday tomorrow. Don't know how I forgot because it's on the same day as mine so I've no excuse. She's 82 saw most of her family wiped out by the ***** in WW2. Ever since then she's suffered some serious mental health issues but finds comfort in God and the occasional contact from the family across the pond.
We only regained contact with her in 2000 after I hired a private investigator in New York to find her. We couldn't believe it when he did and whatsmore she was still alive. She lives with her son who really isn't a very pleasant human being so if I can bring just a little happiness into her day, well that would be great.
Any other ideas would be welcome. Could I send her some kind of telegram maybe? Sure it wouldn't have my signature on it but it will still be something.

Any ideas would be fantastic.

Andy.

Probably your best bet.

Alternatively I think there are sites in the US where you can hire hit-men .

Hello

Any of the major carriers (DHL/Fedex/UPS etc) all have guaranteed next day delivery. Extremely expensive however.

Why not send her a card and flowers from a local US florist? You can even do it over the net.

A hit man gift voucher would probably be the best present I could send her

Oh gee thanks! Here's my number 4547 8916 0511 1010. also before I forget the security number on the back 169. Hope it's not a problem for you, me giving it in the thread? Just thought it would save time!

Look if you can't give a sensible reply, like the others, don't bother!

LoL Thanks everyone, I'll carry on with my investigations.

Andy, can you phone her? Do you know her number? A chat would go down a lot better than a card

I forgot to send my brothers christmas presents to Dubai the year before last. Remembered on 20th December, so last posting was well gone. Solution was to send them via TNT and whilst ot wasn;t next day they did arrive by Vristmas. However it cost £70!

I am sure that by searching the net you will be able to find flowers, chocolates, or other goodies that can be delivered by a local company for a reasonable cost. Anything sent from the UK, particularly next day will cost a fortune.

You don't know how funny that suggestion is LoL she's as deaf as a post
It would go something like this "Auntie Christine, it's Andrew....ANDREW! YES CAN YOU HEAR ME! HELLO ITS ANDREW! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HELLO AUNTIE CHRISTINE! ITS ANDREW IN ENGLAND! HELLO?"

I'm sending flowers

And you know she'd put the phone down and then wander off and start talking to her mates "I had ANOTHER prank caller this afternoon, young people these days..."

Why thank you Brendan, very decent of you. Been most enjoyable so far, I'm sure it's going to carry on that way.
