Yoza,

Have you got any IWCs? Not sure whether to go for the Flieger Chrono or the Classic Mk XV, but don't really want to spend more than £1500. Found a pre-owned Mk XV in Austin Kaye for £1495 the other day, but then saw that Blitz Watches were doing them for £1600 new

Nope, but Andy172 just bought a nice IWC Portuguese for a good discount whilst on his holidays......

They are a bit to delicate looking for my taste, not bomb proof shall we say.

I managed to pick this up new in a shop (2 weeks ago) for about your budget, with a bit of negotiating. Highly recommended!

Im going to hold fire for the minute as im bidding on a 22b, and the £1500 might come in handy.

Not keen on the Portuguese. What sort of discount would we be talking? My wife's going to Zurich in the next couple of months...
