Vendor not refunding, advice wanted
I am in a situation where I have ordered parts, paid for them and have been sent the wrong items (this was in July).
Have sent back said items and after nearly two months of vendor not being able to source correct parts, was told I could have a refund (September), still have not received it.
Have mailed vendor each week to confirm that nothing has arrived.
Have been told that cheque must have been lost in the post and vendor would cancel it and send me new one...this I believe to be bollox.
Becoming increasingly annoyed and am considering reporting this vendor to Trading standards, amount owed to me is just short of £200.
Any advice?

Write a letter outlining your grievence.Tell them they have 28 days to refund your cash. Send it and keep a copy. If you don't get a response after 28 days go to trading standards with the copy of your letter. They'll sort it for you. Good luck

tell them they have 3 days to get you the cash or you will inform experian and take them to small claims court. It will fek them up for years if you do, so expect a fairly rapid cheque

Thanks for the replies guys
Fiestaboy - would love to drive to vendors workplace, but looking at about a four - five hour drive. Have two fekin jobs and cannot find time
Chris's scooby - Vendor has been slagged off on here before, I think most people (if they knew who it is) would maybe expect this level/lack of service?
Gary C - Like the idea but if it goes to court, could I end up losing the money I'm owed?
s70rjw and fastbloke - like these ideas the most, if it means they get messed up I'd be happy with that. I don't want to cause trouble, but I feel i'm being given the runaround
Thanks again guys, you've all given me a lot to think about. I may keep you posted

I could be wrong but I think the small claims court has a fixed cost and deals with things below a certain value.
I do think if your facts are right you should name and shame so nobody else has this aggro either.
Good luck
