Business Expenses.. What can I claim back?
Just wondering what sort of things I can claim back as "reasonable" expenses given that I am now Self Employed. For example:
Driving to work (Petrol, pence per mile?, parking costs etc)
Clothing (Smartly dressed - claim anything back on suits?)
Lunches, anything else?
I guess it's going to be down to the accountants I use, but was just wondering what sort of things would be OK to claim back. I'm keeping as many receipts as possible!

Clothing's a no-no.
Driving to work isn't possible (that's ordinary commuting). But of course, your place of work could be your house (where you do all your admin) so you could claim mileage to your clients' premises. But only for two years maximum, unless you spend <40% of your time there.
