I know my stuff is genuine, as its a) tasteful and b) the shops i buy it in arent likely to be knocking out bootlegs
And its versace (no 'H')

If you have the said Versache jeans these are fake, Mr Akimoto will not stand for such blantant mis-representation of such quality clothing brands.

Genuine Armani Jeans will have a "siminit" label inside it, which is the manufacturer of the Armani Jeans line, but these can be faked. Also, they should all come with some sort of "certificate of authenticity" but again, no guarantee of it being the real thing.
Armani Jeans is the cheaper range, not Emporio Armani, and above both of these you will find Giorgio Armani, which is the more senior brand.
To be honest a great of designer items on Ebay are fake, so be very wary, but in saying that there are some genuine items on there, so just watch feedback. I also look at the "other items for sale" page, as if they are selling expensive items, chances are, it is more likely to be genuine.
I don't know much about Versace because to me, it is chav.

You know its genuine Armani if you buy it from Emporio Armani or Armani Collezioni. You can also tell quite simply by the quality (especially suits) of the material used and how the clothes hang.

Yep I have to agree with SJ, I own a few pieces by armani, Armani Jeans, Emporio Armani, Armani Casual, Armani by Armani, Homme, and Emporio, also have some gloves by collezioni (sp).
The fit and material quality and stitching on Armani clothes is second only to some hugo boss lines. Having bought some fakes (when I was a poor young student). The fakes do not have the quality in materials or workmanship, some have the labels and an attempt at a certificate but if you have nothing to compare against you will not know until you start wearing it, how it fits and how long it lasts.
For example. I have a Emporio Armani mohair coat, cost a fortune but it is now 4 years old and still looks new. Same with suits. you get what you pay for.
I wouldnt touch versace (fake or otherwise) its garish and about as fashionable as stripy flourescent socks. Its designed for people who have money but no taste, like north and south americans who seem to idolise the sh1te. But a versace dress on a fit women is amazing they are one of the best dress makers in the world. (im not talking about the headline creation crap either).

Half the point in buying these designer clothes is the purchasing process, going to the designers store and being shown the clothes, there is a process involved.
The Armani stores in Milan are amazing. but there is a ok one in London also.
buying some knock off crap on ebay your missing the boat.
