Battlestar Galactica
Anyone else just watched this on Sky One?
I tried to hate it, I really did. I mean, Starbuck and Boomer are now girls, the Cylons are crap cgi and they have human looking cylons, but I actually really enjoyed it. First Sci-fi I've enjoyed in a while (got bored of Star Trek spin-offs about 5 years ago).
Note to self: look in loft and see if you can find your old Viper model

managed to stay awake and watch it.......bubblegum for the brain, I liked it, sadly gonna miss tomorrow nights installment........Now 'HEX', I wont be missing.

Nowhere near as good as the original series IMO.
The mini-series is just the film split into two bits and shown on two days, (I saw it in it's complete form on sky movies a few weeks ago). Unfortunately, the second part isn't any better than the first

I saw Stargate Atlantis - if you are a Stargate fan then you will like it. If you arent already a fan it wont convert you. More of the same stuff with new people. The attractive one this time is a bloke unfortunately - but alot of crossover appearances from main SG1.

It was much better than I thought it was going to be.
Seemed to be a fair amount of clothes off action until the Cylons turned up. And yeah, robot or not I'd go for the Cylon bird every time.

One thing I did miss was how come the Cylons were able to disable the new Vipers but not the old?
I saw Lee Adarma's Viper shut down and thought it was becuase of the cylons but then I had to soo to the nipper so when I returned the old Vipers were fighting the Cylons.
Something to do with old tech I presume?

Funniest comment I have seen on here for a while!! The stargate atlantis was ok, but I second the comments earlier, if you don't like the original then you probably won't like the spin-off!!
I missed BG as well, but it should be repeated on mix at some point!
