HELP!!! Canon EOS300D Promo Code??
Hi
Anyone who has bought a Canon EOS300D in the last few weeks and still has the box?
I have just registered with Canon Gateway and they want a promotion code number off the box ..... I have entered every number I can think of but no luck!
And guess which binman has got my box!
HELP!!
No need for any wise cracks ... this is IMPORTANT! (I shouldn't have said that should I?)
Come on you lot HELP ME - anyone have stocks of 300D's they can sneak a look at the code of?
Pete

Its no holiday, just the Promo CF Card !!
Register your serial number and promo code is all that needs to be done - but, I go and register 10 days after I bought the thing
Serial number is fine - its the promo code thats missing .... done a search and a german fella is trying to find it too (my german isn't good but I can safely say he hasn't found it either!)
The promotion ends 31/10/04 - PANIC!!!!!

I would if I could mate, but I'm still sitting on the fence on which one to get
And no, I'm not going to buy a 300D just to give you the promo code!
Can you give the retailer a ring where you bought it and tell them you either never got it, or mislaid it?
Hang on, you're squawking like a hen laying an ostrich egg over an 8MB card? You tight git You can get a 1GB card for under 60 quid....spend some of the money you saved

LOL @ 8Mb
If you want me to help out an old man, I'll dig out my Cub Scout uniform and help you across a road
Hanslow, where can you get a 1Gb card for that money? (a decent one that is)

Pete, I'd have to go to the shops for that....and they are shut
Email Jessops or give em a ring, I'm sure they'd be able to help. Speak to whomever you bought it from and say you need the code. Shouldn't matter a jot to them

I rang Canon today and they rang back ( advantage Canon!) they have had problems with their stocks of EOS300Ds not carrying the sticker - let us have your address and we will send you a 1Gb microdrive by way of an apology!!!
I can just see Nikon doing that with their D70 buyers!!
Guess who just got the bargain of the decade?

Wow Pete, with your super slooooooooow camera and your even slower (and prone to failure) Microdrive, you should be able to rattle off pictures at the rate of 2 a minute!

There's not a lot wrong with the Microdrive, I use one in my 1D and it's fine.
Just don't try using it while riding a horse - hard discs don't like the bumps. Lost a few pics of my last holiday in the US that way
