More alarmist bollox: says there are no flood defences in our area.

So what are those 12 foot banks that keep the Trent in place then?

HMGovernment playing into the hands of insurance companies. just watch how many policies get cancelled now.: : Sigh

Well, if my home is at risk, it'll probably have flooded by the time the site actually gives up an answer

Getting a DNS message for the site.

Perhaps it has been flooded with enquiries/hits

My house and indeed the whole plot is apparently in the flood zone, I have known this area for 35 years, and the plot itself has never been floodod, the road alongside has, but not the plot, am I worried, nah, we built the house higher to cope with it, there'd be about 200 houses get wet before we do!!!

I presume the blue bit is the area liable to flood. You can make out the current river course within the blue area.
