The Walter Mitty characters are out there. Even people you know can turn out to be someone you never knew at all.
Deep sounding, but true. I was shafted by an aquaintance of 10 years, big time.
His day is approaching fast and although he's going to see the inside of a cell for many years (if the judge and jury are awake), it won't help the 30 or so people get a penny back that he stole.
