Cheers,

Matt
board school will do the same, normally they watch you do a small run then put you a group with similar ability.

I have been to mayrhofen a few years back, weather is a very often poor in this region and most of the slopes are north facing, not normally ideal for good snop conditions.

although we had a good week there even though the weather was bad for 2/3 days, nice town to drink in and the skiing is varied and challenging, all depends on the snow fall though. last year was meant to be very good but austria has struggled for good snow in the last 4/5 years.

Thumbs up

We had a cracking time there a couple of years ago and if the resort has one major failing, it's the bottle-neck at the Penkenbahn (big cable car). The main (and best) ski areas are only accessable by using this lift and if memory serves correct, get there later than 8:00 and you're bolloxed for the next hour or so.

Other than than, a quality resort. We went in half-term and the weather was superb (might just have been lucky given James's comments). I'd go back.

Cheers
