Why does my sweat smell pissy?
When you get old like PSLewis you almost have a right, an expectation to smell pissy. People excuse it, almost expect it...But all the same are grateful when you've gone away.
My problems a little different.
When I go to the gym I work out hard. Very hard. No big deal but I've become aware that as my workout goes on my sweat is smelling pretty nasty.
A 'hum da vee' of ****. WTF? I have to try and create an exclusion zone around me by voluntarily moving away when someone comes close by.
I don't want to be known as the guy who smells of ****. Even worse to be described as such and have other people say "Oh yeah him, Pissy man"
And then laugh. Grateful not to be me.
No. I'm not having it. I have my standards. They are higher than the smell of ****. Normal BO would be good enough for me right now.
I feel a need to add at this point this pissy pong does not carry on, prevail, before or after the gym. Just during intensive exercise.
I have full control of my bladder. My stools are firm and well coloured. My eyes are bright and my tail is long.
Whats going on? Suggestions?

Don't know, but are you on the Atkins diet (or do you have a high protien/low carb diet)? I've heard that Atkins can make the breath pong, so perhaps a "sub-Atkins" diet can have similar effects but with the by-products getting out through the sweat glands rather than the breath?

No Atkins diet. Just sensible eating. True I may not drink enough. I'll try to drink a good amount before the next workout and see if that helps.

Who bloody cares you're training what do people want you to sweat MUSK. You are there to train not to smell nice if people don't like it tell 'em to P*SS OFF (No pun intended).

When I go to the gym I work out hard. Very hard.
....forget the gym, you should write voice over scripts for Jean Claude Van Damme movies, you'd make a fortune
Don't know if it's relevant, but maggots give off ammonia when they sweat, I know, my missus always complains when they have been in the fridge for more than a week

Land based animals tend to excrete urea or uric acid in the case of birds (as Scooby paintwork will attest! ).

I am going to definately drink a good amount an hour or so before a workout, try and get really hydrated & see if it makes a difference.

An average guy should drink 2-3 litres of water a day normally. If you are working out heavily, you can lose up to 1 litre of water per hour, so you need to compensate for this by drinking more.
Avoid caffeinated drinks such as tea/coffee or Coke and avoid alcohol. These are all diuretic which make you lose water more quickly. The last thing you need in the morning after 8 hours of fluid deprivation is have a cuppa!
