It's a great film IMO, bit of a mind **** in some places but well worth a watch...Oh and wack the surround sound on if you have it a good soundtrack too.

If you like Donnie Darko try 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.

Its out now on DVD and its the best film I've seen in years.

Excellent film - The Director's Cut has just been released meaning the original version is dirt cheap.

Top film. After watching the film, go to http://www.donniedarko.com/It will tie up a few loose end, but don't do it until you've watched the film, it will spoil it. (works best on broadband, the quicker the better)

Thought DD was a good film, was expecting it to be crap being a "cult film" type thing, but it was cool - still dont fully get it though.

Donnie Darko very very good film, as are lost highway, mulholland drive and blue velvet.

Try 'Adaptation' if you like films you have to go on the web afterwards to truly understand - by writer of 'Being John Malkovic'

Apparently the directors cut has a good go of explaining it all, which is a shame because the debate of WTF was that about is one of the highlights of the film

Cool

Has anyone seen the Directors Cut yet? Just wondering if it's worth getting on top of the original version?

Cheers Neil, looks like it might be worth getting. There's a very nice limited edition 3D box in the shops at the moment

I watched it tonight and it isn't scary. It's just a mind ****.

I really enjoyed and will watch it again now.

Goes on my list as a MUST SEE. Watch it on a big telly, in a dark room, with surround sound of full voulume.
