As in title What is a Hyperlink, The wife is doing a RSA 3 course at night school, and when copied a letter she was told not to have put in a hyperlink. I told her I think its a web address is this correct.

a hyperlink is like what is in the top right corner of this site under random product, its a link that will jump you to another site or another page on the site you are veiwing. hope you understand that

It's a link on a web page. It can be to another page or another part of the same page. Word processors these days automatically make hyperlinks in the same way scoobynet does, so if you type;

www.scoobynet.com

the software adds some code and makes it a clickable link or hyperlink.

The mrs may need to select the offending link in her letter and click in remove hyperlink (edit menu if using word)
