Principle Of Evil Made Flesh
I can't help thinking that people that are into music like this are somewhat ill-adjusted,mentally.

discuss.

or perhaps we just take a different view on things and enjoy what todays boring culture finds "strange".

hmmm maybe
people think i'm weird because i love this kind of music and i wear body piercings all over the place and goth clothes.

But i think people who follow fashion and wear designer brand gear weird for being suckered in by clothing companies

I was ill-adjusted quite a long time ago and unfortunately never got around to thank the lady for it

I've never have got over it (thankfully) which is why I continue to enjoy "this sort of music". My kids are currently enjoying the latest offerings from Rammstein, Alter Bridge, and Cradle of Filth to name but a few and whilst they may be showing signs of musical "ill-adjustment" (big from me), I'd much rather have them being a bit feisty than being fans of any of the current offerings from the brain-numbing Barbie-doll clap-trap outfits which have polluted and continue to pollute the brains of youth these days. Probably a government conspiracy but I'm not gonna go that far just yet

I'm proud to be able to say I grew up listening to - and copied the album cover designs on my school rucksack - Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Hawkwind, Led Zeppelin et al. I turned out alright and reckon my kids will do too. If they were listening to Britney, I'd be seriously concerned !

'Ill-adjusted'? Why, thank you

Ill-adjusted is paying good money for the manufactured, disposable garbage that fills the charts. At least bands like Rammstein stand or fall on the strength of their music...

...and what music! (Is 'Reise Reise' out yet BTW?) Just imagine 'Spiel Mit Mir' in English on TOTP, it'd make the news (PM me for a translation of the lyrics )

Andy, yes, Reise Reise is out. I picked it up on the day it was released a couple of weeks ago - the title track is great as is "Amerika" which is a cracking pastiche on that society. Have to say though, there are a couple of dud tracks and I don't think it's as good as Mutter which was one of those immediately-likeable albums. Still, it is a good buy.

You guys should come to Doncaster on a Tuesday night. Winters coming and the townies are getting scared of the increase in goths. *******s make a right mess in the mosh pit and really hurt people. But there were non this week and should be less this week.
Good ol Rammstein. What a band. Being able to speak a bit of Deutsche helps too

I had the pleasure of working with them in the studio

With the original drummer, Nick. Great bunch of guys. They also recorded the next album at the same place I was chief engineer (Dep International) - using a German producer. Can't for the life of me remember who it was though

Personally I like the latest album "Nymphetamine" the most - the sound seems to have filled out a lot more although I can't see them releasing "Guilded C..." as a single
