recently saw the "crappiest cities to live in the uk" thread. theres always threads dissing places... so what do u think are the BEST cities to live in and/or to visit IN THE UK.

Lundurn is the number one tourist attraction in terms of cities.

All cities have bad areas/crime but in Sheffield its better than most.Secondly it has a good mix of old industrial and new modern.Thirdly a few miles drive and the countryside is great.Fourth,the people.

Its just a great city to live in.

If Edinburgh was on the crap list then I'd ignore that poll altogether.

The poll was saying it is one of the worst places in the UK to live (Joint 4th with Glasgow, now I can comprehend that being there!!), that's all. Can't understand Edinburgh being on it though because I don't have anything to moan about apart from the expense having been here all my life (bar two years I spent in Sheffield).
