If Blair does get a 3rd term, no doubt he will hurtle into the disaster that is the Euro and hand over the running of the country to Brussels. So all this jostling to be his successor will be in vain, because the Prime Minister by that time will simply be a figurehead with no actual power.

Do you really think it would be a good thing to hand this country over to the Eu by the way Paul? What do you think of the Eu Commissioners, their audits have not been accepted by the official auditors for the last nine years because of all the inexplicable losses of our money! Where is it then?

That is just like saying that you should let children misbehave because they are just children!
So you think it does not matter if the commissioners are totally incompetent and lose all that money without trace. What a particularly silly comment to make. If that sort of thing is accepted, where will it all end for goodness sake? We are talking about many millions of Euros over several years which have disappeared and no one can say how!
