'Free Love Freeway'
Has anyone else heard 'Free Love Freeway' by David Brent & Noel Gallagher ? (orginally played by Brent in 'The Office')
Whilst I completely understand why Gervais says he wont release it, tis a shame as it is a great tune ! (I'd imagine it'd be a guaranteed xmas no.1 .....so will he or wont he ......???)

I heard this on Radio 1 this week (Jo Whiley I think). Not my sort of music but nevertheless a very good effort and better than a lot of the crap making it to the airwaves right now.....
It's hard to take RG seriously as a singer though as I keep picturing him in the sketch when he went and got the guitar....

The idea being that you dont take him seriously !
He doesnt want to release it as it isnt a comedy record and it isnt a spoof, it isnt in the context of Ricky Gervais, it David Brent singing being a frustrated Paper Supplies manager, I can see why he doesnt want to release it as a lot of people wont see the irony, present company excepted.
I still bet its number one this Christmas, a 'charidy' will get hold of it, perhaps the Spastic Society (Now Scope).....
