The first one hasn't aged a bit ; Aliens looks a bit 80s now, IMO but is still good fun.
I haven't seen the recut of Finchers yet but have heard its supposed to be better than its original release which I didn't think was as bad as everyone made out. They should've kept Newt alive though to carry on where Ripley left off.
Resurrection, although I enjoyed it I thought it was more funny than scary and it seemed like the series had started to self-parody.

Defo aliens directors cut, the colonial marines are cool and gotta love the sentry guns.
Followed by alien resurection, not too keen on the 1st one, and the 3rd one was a pile of crap but i always watch it too see the beginging which was filmed about 15 mins from my house.

Probably because I was only 12 when I first saw it & it scared (and still does) the bejeezus out of me
Whether you prefer 1 or 2, I think is just down to whether you're more into suspense or action movies.
