Road Angel 2 is USB only, Road Angel was serial, I use a road angel and it works great for PDA GPS.
The problem lies in the USB, you can get usb to serial convertors, but to be honest that route is going to cost more and be more hassle than getting a GPS mouse just to use with the PDA.
check out the carcomm mounts (fantastic phone holder style mounts), and they supply a compatible gps mouse for £45.
totalpda supply them in the uk
cheers

Thanks for the info, but i think the new RA 2 does have a seriel port in the back (round with lots of pins). I may end up going for the tomtom go anyway, but only if it supports traffic alert (as the PDA version does)
