Speaker driver problem
I have noticed one of the drivers (polygraphs)in my speakers (Infinity Kappa 9)was not working.
I have taken both out and checked for open circuit and both ok.
The coils are therefore intact , so I can assume not the driver.
I concluded a failure in the cross over somewhere.
How can I check/repair this fault?
Not being cheap , just these speakers are large and a pain to get to repairers.
Checked the wiring to the drivers and was surprised to find they were in fact an open circuit which surprised me.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you're measuring between the terminals and the tweeter then an ordinary multimeter will show an open circuit on at least one side because of the low frequency blocking capacitor in the crossover. If it shows as open between the main terminals and the woofer, then you have a crossover problem.
