I have just picked up a pocket watch and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on it. The case is marked Star Dennison and has jewelers marks going back to 1940. On the inner case it is marked " English Make This case guaranteed to wear 10 years".. The movement is marked swiss made 15 jewels, There is no obvious makers mark on the movement. If anyone can offer any info on the watch it would be much appreciated.

Dennison were case makers (english firm) for watch manufacturers such as Omega and Rolex (amongst others!). The larger manufacturers usually mark their movements, so I doubt if yours is a Rolex/Omega. A Google search might reveal more.....?
