Hello

For my new job I shall be wandering between Atlanta (well, Roswell actually), Georgia and England (starting Monday). I have only ever worked in California and I think I will be in for a little bit of a shock.

Has anyone been there? Any recommendations for things to do?

(Apart from avoid words like "Redneck" and acronyms like "KKK").

Buy as many Atlanta Braves caps that you can get your hands on.

Atlanta is not that bad, it is a quite civilized, Roswell out in the burbs and where there is lots of shopping. Main shopping area is to the south of Roswell called Buckhead off the 400 hwy. As for things to do, you can go to on the Coke (Cola) tour, baseball games, Six flags amusement park, and the Olympic village.

The Mall of Georgia is a good place to shop and isn't too far. Biggest mall in the S.E or something like that.

Okay, so I can shop! My hotel is actually next to the North Point Mall apparently.
